Łuków Tobacco Growers Association

Experience and Tradition:
The Łuków Tobacco Growers Association was established in 2005. The main goal of the Association is to protect the interests of farmers and ensure the profitability of tobacco production.
Growers from Łukowa are renowned for cultivating the highest quality tobacco, and the town itself is often referred to as the “capital of Polish tobacco.” The success of the production is built on 80 years of tradition, premium-quality raw materials, professional knowledge, and the hard work of farmers.
The creation of the Association was driven by challenges in the industry, including the potential introduction of unfavorable EU and national legislation, as well as unfair practices (such as tobacco purchasing and classification rules) implemented by large entities in the tobacco market.
Thanks to consolidation, a united group was formed with a strong negotiating position, capable of acting as an influential body and an equal partner in discussions concerning the tobacco industry at both national and international levels.
